Garlies Lodge

Situated in a peaceful location within the Galloway Forest Park, one of the Dark Sky parks, this 100 year old former hunting lodge has a large living/dining room with well-equipped kitchen area and wood-burning stove. There are two double bedrooms; one with en-suite bathroom. Three twin bedrooms, two with french doors to verandah; one with en-suite bathroom with over-bath shower. Two shower rooms with toilet.

Drumroamin Farm Camping and Caravan Site

We are a family run campsite in the heart of the Machars, just 5 miles south of Wigtown and 12 miles south of Newton Stewart.  We overlook Wigtown Bay and the Galloway Hills. Our site is just a short walk from The Crooke of Baldoon RSPB reserve.

We have 20 electric and 30 non electric large pitches, all on a level field.  Our modern shower/toilet block is heated in winter and provides free hot water for showers and dishes.  There is washing machines and drier available and a freezer for ice blocks.

There is a sitting area with books, tv and pool table on site too.  We have a play area for children and dog walks for pooches.
