New Eco Bothies open!
The Galloway Activity Centre is proud to announce the opening of their fantastic new Eco Bothies. The Bothies are off-grid modular pods designed and manufactured locally by Architect Sam Booth of "Echo" Eco Houses. The Eco Pods were featured on series 1 of Channel 4's "George Clarke’s amazing spaces" program. We are proud to say that our two Bothies on the banks of Loch Ken are Sam’s first off the production line.
Loch Ken Eco Bothies are situated in the heart of southwest Scotland on the shores of Loch Ken. They are beautifully equipped and well-furnished each with their own log burning hot tub. Sit back after a day out on the water or sampling the activities in the area and enjoy a glass of wine whilst relaxing in perfect peace overlooking the shores of Loch Ken.
